Greetings!
My name is Jared McCabe, and I am a sports communications professional with a strong academic and hands-on background in media. I earned my Master’s degree in Sports Communication and Media from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut, where I also completed my undergraduate studies, receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Communication with a minor in Marketing.
During my final two years at Sacred Heart University, I had the privilege of serving as a Graduate Assistant for the Sports Communications Department. This experience was an invaluable extension of my education, allowing me to further develop my skills across multiple areas of sports media. I have gained experience both on camera and behind the scenes, including work with production equipment and in the control room, strengthening my understanding of the full broadcast process.
Originally from Valatie, New York, I later spent six years in Fairfield, Connecticut, before relocating to King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. Growing up, I took every opportunity to immerse myself in sports venues and experiences, which further fueled my passion for the industry.
Sports have always been a central part of my life—my second language, you could say. I am an avid fan of many sports, particularly football, basketball, hockey, and baseball. Beyond sports, I have a strong interest in men’s fashion, enjoying staying current with trends, shopping, and expanding my sneaker collection.
I am a positive, energetic, and driven individual who values meaningful connections, creativity, and growth. I approach both work and life with enthusiasm, optimism, and a collaborative spirit. I look forward to the opportunity to connect and share my passion for sports, media, and creativity.
